Abstract

In the hight voltage network encounter various fault conditions. To detect the use of digital protection in the form of compact units , which include measuring card. As part of his graduation work experience in a company as ELVAC a.s. I was tasked to create a multifunctional test and test selected card. Multifunction test was created using OMICRON TEST 3.00, which is used to test the firmware card. The result of this work is the procedure for testing the correctness of the firmware configuration and calibration of two types of PCB cards( printed circuit board ). One type of DPS card is designed for measuring voltage and current, the second type of PCB is EP card ( Elvac Protection card) , which is used to measure voltage, current , and compared to previous PCB card contains binary inputs and outputs . When testing the voltage and current cards I didnt find fault. When testing the EP cards I found two bugs in the firmware - incorrect measurement frequency and directionality measurements for overcurrent protection. During practice I learned to test individual protective function RTU unit (Remote Terminal Unit).
