Abstract

This bachelor thesis is a report from technical internship which I have attended at ELCOM, a.s. company, specifically its division of virtual instrumentation. Main subject matter of my internship was to design and implement software applications of three layers for three different hardware platforms (Field programmable gate array, PC, RTOS microprocessor) intended for device for measuring capacitance of impregnated stator winding of asynchronous motors. Other part of this internship was to understand the concept and purpose of the device, study its individual components and cooperate with co-workers from various department of the division. ELCOM, a.s. uses mainly products from National Instruments, this is a reason why the designed software was implemented in integrated development environment LabVIEW and its expanding modules.
