Abstract

The main objective of this master thesis is an analysis of purchasing system and design of solution for purchase requests monitoring in the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research. Theoretical part deals with information systems, their development and functionality and also waste in administrative processes. Practical part analyzes the systems for purchase requests. The main stress of the practical part is on the analysis of the current situation in the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research (Dubna, Russia), the subsequent evaluation of the purchasing system, including information systems and suggestions for their improvement. On the basis of newly proposed solutions for the purchase tracking system, an evaluation and recommendation of further action is made.
