Abstract

The thesis deals with government failures and the quality of public administration in the Visegrad Group countries. Theoretical part describes the theoretical concept of government failures and defines the basic concept of economic policy. Next chapter deals with the quality of public admistration, empiricism and methods of measuring quality in public administration. The practical part of the thesis focuses on selected issues of governance in the Visegrad Group countries and the evaluation of its quality indicators based on The Worldwide Governance Indicators.
