Implementation of Grover's algorithm to find the solution of a simplified Sudoku game using a quantum computer

Abstract

In the thesis we will focus on defining basics of quantum information theory. We will focus on building block of quantum computers, qubit, entangling qubits and respective mathematical rep- resentation. We will define quantum gates and how the qubits are affected by certain gates. The second part will be about theoretical description of Grover’s algorithm, deriving optimal number of iterations of the algorithm, composing a quantum circuit for performing the algorithm. Lastly, we will implement the algorithm for 2 tasks.
