Abstract
Industry 4.0 is part of a new generation of industrial production in the Czech Republic, based on automation, robotization and digitization of production processes. The issue of implementation of new technologies also brings two different perspectives on the impacts of these innovations. On one hand, the implementation of new technologies leads to a reduction in production costs and an increase in the company's competitiveness and labor productivity. On the other hand, the impact of the implementation of industry 4.0 on employment in companies is not fully known. This diploma thesis deals with the impact of the implementation of industry 4.0 in selected companies in the Czech Republic, on employment and also on corporate social responsibility and attitude to workers who have been replaced by technologies. It is important to mention that the technology of industry 4.0 brings a transformation of the labor market. This consists in the diriment, but also the creating of jobs and professions, which often require a different level of education and skills than the current positions. The strategy for the implementation of industry 4.0 should definitely consist of well-timed transformation of human resources such as retraining or increasing the qualifications of employees.
