Abstract
This thesis deals with the problem of position and speed control of actuators. The thesis describes theoretical methods of position control and types of controllers used for position control and commercially available small power servo motors from MAXON. Subsequently, components for the implementation of the position and velocity control station were selected. The functionality of the laboratory position and speed control station was verified by measurements. Two laboratory tasks on speed and position control were created. Important catalogue parameters of the components, their connectors and terminals were placed in the appendices. Furthermore, the setup of controllers for speed control of electronically commutated servomotor and controllers for position control of electronically commutated and DC servomotor were described in detail.
