Abstract

This bachelor‘s thesis goal is to map market with stepper motors and design laboratory task with them, where students can try controlling these motors through personal computer. This laboratory task was created with integrated circuits L297 and L298 and as an controlling circuit with microcontroller ATmega8. Program in ATmega8 was written in C programming language. Graphical User Interface in personal computer is written in C# programming language. In Graphical User Interface offers two modes, programming mode where is possible to create short programs “sequences” that controls motors behavior. Second mode is mode where the motor behavior can be controlled in real time.
