Abstract

The aim of this thesis is to apply insurance company process since the inception to liquidation of insurance event of particular subject and also to point at indemnity possibilities offered by insurance market in case of particular risk accepted to the insurance. At the beginning of this thesis the meaning of insurance is explained as one of options of financial risk cover, the risk in connection with insurance theory and limitation of risks at insurance busines along with their classification and following implementation. Next point of the thesis is a description of the general insurance, it covers property insurance, liability for damage insurance and general personal insurance. The work also includes the ways of financial risk covers for business sector. Following part of work solves process of particular insurance company from the insurance policy agreement of general insurance up to liquidation of insurance event. This i all applied in practical part of work together with assurance options that are offered in the market at the time. Finally the work mention fire risk assurance, where on the example due to calculations are shown the possibilities of risk transfers from the insurer to reinsurer.
