Zpracování ocelárenských strusek a jejich využití pro přípravu stavebních dílců se samočistícími schopnostmi

Abstract

The dissertation thesis is focused on the enhancement of the material´s utilization of the metallurgical slags. The main types of the slags originating during the metallurgical processes are introduced; their basic properties and possibilities of their treatment; the routes for their disposal and recycling are also discussed. The experimental part is focused on the optimization of the magnetic separation process; the reutilization of obtained nonmagnetic fraction in the structural elements based on the Portland cement binder is researched in the next part. The application of the photocatalytically active materials on the surface of a such prepared samples is also tested in order to impart the self-cleaning properties to such treated samples. The modification of the photocatalyst, preparation of its stable aqueous suspension, and the methods of application of the prepared suspension are also investigated.
