Abstract

The subject of this master's thesis is a comprehensive corporate diagnostic of Viessmann, spol. s r.o., which is one of the leading suppliers in the market of energy and heating technologies in the Czech Republic. The main objective of the thesis is to evaluate the current strategic and financial position of the company based on an in-depth analysis of the external and internal corporate environment, and subsequently to formulate proposals and recommendations for its future development. The thesis is divided into a theoretical and a practical part. The theoretical part defines the theoretical background of corporate diagnostics and describes the methods used. The practical part applies these methods to specific company data from the years 2020–2024. The external environment is examined using PESTLE analysis and Porter's Five Forces model. The internal environment is analyzed using the Business Model Canvas and a comprehensive financial analysis, including horizontal and vertical analysis, the INFA model, and selected bankruptcy and creditworthiness models. The synthesis of the findings is carried out in the form of a SWOT analysis.
