Abstract

The Bachelor thesis is focused on the topic of „Discrimination in the Labour Market in the Czech Republic“. The labour market, unempolyment and discrimination is described in the theoretical section. The practical section consist of diving into the issue od women’s discrimination and if women still do feel discriminated in the workplace. Discriminated during the job interview, been presented with the same career advancements as men or simply if the employer is forthcoming when disscussing children and a family life. Moreover, the men’s opinion on this issue was also adressed here. Evaluation was conducted in a form of survey with number of responders being 248. Finalised findings as well as recommendation for improving women’s workplace are included in the last section.
