Abstract
The aim of the work is characterization of the non-life insurance and assessment of the development non-life insurance market in the Czech Republic.
The thesis is divided (except for the introduction and conclusion) into three parts. The theoretical part contains a brief history of non-life insurance in the Czech Republic and the characteristics of non-life insurance sector with the specific types of insurance offered. The following part describes the detailed individual indicators, which examine the level of non-life insurance market. The application part analyzed the Czech insurance market with a focus on non-life insurance market.
