Abstract

The game theory is an area of applied mathematics dealing with conflict situations of various kinds. Its terminology is closely related to the sphere of social games. When playing social games, there is almost always a conflict of interests. This bachelor's thesis deals with the analysis of a selected social game using a particular conflict solving method from the area of game theory. The thesis outlines the basic terminology and theoretical division of conflict situations, and also methods of solving them. For the application part of the thesis, we chose the card game 6 takes! with modified rules, so that it is possible to analyze it. The game is incorporated in the area of game theory and on the basis of this incorporation, the method of solving a non-antagonistic conflict of two players is used, namely in pure strategies.
