Analýza výbuchových charakteristik hydridu

Abstract

This thesis is devoted to selected aspects of the safety of metal hydrides. These metals represent modern materials for the field of hydrogen technologies and hydrogen separation, which are important in fire protection and environmental safety. Testing and analysis to quantify the hazardous effects of burning and extinguishing these materials requires the application of scientific knowledge with a high degree of interdisciplinarity. The work contains an initial study in this area with a definition of the field of study at the border of fire safety, process safety, environmental safety and the chemical industry. As part of the work, a literature search was conducted on the possibility of experimental determination of explosion characteristics. Previous studies on adding hydrogen to hydrides to reduce air pollution were found and both parts of the search were analyzed. Furthermore, experimental equipment was assembled for measurement and calibration of measurements with certified materials. For the first time in the world, explosion characteristics were measured in this calibrated and optimized measuring system.
