Abstract

Wastes from asbestos are considered very dangerous waste material with which must be handled strictly in accordance with relevant legal and technical standards to prevent ot repase of asbestos fibers into the air and their subsequent infiltration into the airways, which could cause servus illness. Bachelor thesis made on the basis of the retrieval, study the characteristics of these wastes, including a description of asbestos minerals, their extraction and processing, as well as a summary of current legislativ and methods for treating asbestos waste in the Czech Republic an abroad, including modern methods of processing and disposal
