Vliv udržitelnosti lokálního ohniska na utváření území měst

Abstract

The thesis deals with sustainable urban planning and its methods and techniques, high quality urban space designing, and especially expounding on the idea of the city. The work puts emphasis on three underlying urban design phenomena, i.e. demarcation, arrangement and outbreaks. These are seen from several different perspectives: historical city development, contemporary urban design, selected urban theorists’ view on the matter, and lastly author’s own designs.
