Aplikace technické analýzy jako nástroje obchodování na akciový index

Abstract

In diploma thesis application of analytical instruments of technical analysis on predicted values of stock index is described. In first chapter of this thesis shares as equity securities are characterized. They are described due to their categories as by kind, form or marketability. Achieving of earnings by holding the shares is also described. Main part of this chapter is parsing of stock indexes including methods of their construction and determination of their value. Stock index Dow Jones Industrial Average is also described with its history. Second chapter is dedicated to technical analysis, where main theoretical bases including Dow Theory were characterized. There is also detail description of graphical and analytical methods. Software MetaStock is also described as a tool in whose environment testing of analytical instruments was done. In the end of second chapter the stochastic (random) processes and method of simulations of future values of stock index are described. In application part of diploma thesis selected analytical instruments are tested and evaluated upon one thousand of predicted scenarios of stock index and advantages of their use to the future is judged for given types of investors, which reflects goal of diploma thesis.
