Abstract

This thesis focuses on the manufacturing of bainitic steel, which is hot rolled and then wound into coils in the continuous light section mill in Třinec Ironworks, Inc. The teoretical part is devoted to the study of high-strength steels, the choice of chemical composition, thermomechanical rolling, controlled cooling, transformation diagrams of austenite decoposition, bainite. The experimental part is focused on the manufacturing technology selected bainitic steel. Further on structural analysis of the results obtained from the torsion plastometer SETARAM, of experimental rolling in terms of VŠB-TU Ostrava and of operating rolling on above mentioned continuous light section mill. Results will be compared and in case of need, will be proposed appropriate adjustment of the selected chemical composition on the basis of computer simulation.
