Abstract

This thesis is focused on dissipation energy assessment at hot rolling. There was an analysis of the experimental values obtained from plastometric tests. These tests were conducted on plastometer GLEEBLE. Measured values were used for the calculations leading to the assessment strain rate sensitivity of flow stress and the efficiency of power dissipation, but also for determinate the parameter of plastic instability. From these values were assembled 2D or 3D dissipation maps and processing maps. In the first part, namely the theoretical part describes the course plastometric tests, dynamic material model, the theory of maps and their creation process. In the second part the experiment is presented. They are processed raw data from plastometer and describes the procedures, calculations, leading to construct dissipation maps and processing maps. There is also mentioned procedure of the approximated data for a higher scale of temperatures and strain rates. The final maps were created in the Golden Surfer program.
