Abstract
The content of this thesis with evaluation of the development and the level of the mortgage market in the Czech Republic and selected Eropean Union countries and theirs compare according to the specific indicators. Selected countries are Slovakia, Poland, Hungary and Germany. This thesis reader acquainted with the problems, shows the development of selected indicators of mortgage market and selected macroeconomic indicators and make a comparison across the entire economic systém of selected countries.
