Abstract
KALIČÁKOVÁ, Zdeňka. Exploration strategy for exposure of nanoparticles that originate accidentally. Ostrava, 2015.Dissertation thesis.VSB - Technical University of Ostrava, Faculty of Safety Engineering. Supervisor: prof. RNDr. Pavel Danihelka, CSc.
This dissertation thesis deals with the strategies of sampling of nanoparticles from ambient and working environment and includes several screening measurements. Above all, this thesis is all focused on screening of ambient environment and working environment with contamination originating from welding fumes, biomass combustion and abrasion of brake pads. Based on the measurements, it has been figured out the strategies of measurements. In the process of solving the dissertation thesis, there were used theoretical and empirical scientific methods such as scientific literature analytic review, field measurement, experiment with modelling physico-chemical processes of particles release. The aim of this work was to determine a strategy for sampling to characterize unintentionally produced nanoparticles as well as principles of assessment of exposure in working and living environment. Based on research result, several schemes were developed which have to help the goal achievement. Generated solutions provide options to select quickly the appropriate method of performance measurement.
