Abstract

In the opening chapters of the thesis basic characteristics of the pyrolysis process is outlined, followed by a historical overview of the origin and evolution of technological process in Europe. Subsequently, the detailed issues of traffic, the basic features of the pyrolysis in practice and possible impacts on the environment are included. The practical part deals with the analysis of the tars characteristics produced in biomass pyrolysis and subsequent application of lignite pyrolysis tars in the coal flotation. Also comparision with usage of Montanol is included. The experimental results show that it can partially replace conventional collector and by reducing the cost of the coal flotation.
