Abstract

The aim of this diploma thesis is to design a business model of the retail company Wallow. s. r. o., which deals with the production of atypical dosis for pets. In the theoretical part, the concepts related to business models are introduced. It also includes defining selected business models. There are also described the analyzes and methods used in their creation. These are SWOT and SLEPT analyzes, Porter's analysis of five competing forces and pricing methods. It also mentions how Osterwalder and Pigeneur's business model is being developed and what steps are being taken in the design of the business model. In the practical part, are first described the company and product. Then is make an analysis of the internal and external environment of the company, the sectoral environment and the customers' opinion. Based on the results of these analyzes, a business model canvas is compiled. The created model focuses mainly on marketing development, which is key to new entrants to the market. It also focuses on controlling the goals that are needed if a company is to succeed in meeting goals.
