Abstract

The aim of this dissertation was to measure public satisfaction of the Jeseník region with the local public transport. The satisfaction survey was conducted by using an electronic questionnaire. The main purpose of the survey was to find out what is important for people of the region and how satisfied they are with the public transport in the region. The first chapter characterizes the region itself and the history and the current situation of the transport in the region. The second chapter is focused on the theoretical background of the general services and the transport services. The next chapter contains the research methodology of the satisfaction measurement. There is explained the problem and the goal of the research completed by hypothesis. The analytical part contains a description of the research results, along with the charts and the tables. The analytical part also affects the next chapter with suggestions and recommendations. The final section is a brief summary of the whole dissertation.
