Abstract
The diploma thesis deals with the issue of using a recycled carbon fibres. This diploma thesis indirectly follows on from a bachelor thesis entitled Thermal recycling of carbon fibre composites, the output of which was carbon fibre recycled. This diploma thesis solves various possibilities of using recycled material in different types of composite materials, namely in thermoplastics and thermosets, its additional treatment and subsequent production. It compares mechanical and other properties with various similar materials and lists suitable applications of recycled fiber. In the practical part, the recyclate is processed into a usable form for subsequent preparation and for the production of composite samples. There is a whole range of measurements together with evaluation of mechanical and thermal properties carried out on them. Subsequently, the samples are examined in an electron microscope and analyzed in a structured manner.
