Abstract

The topic of this bachelor thesis is „Project Management of Gastronomic Establishment in Ostrava“, the main idea is therefore project management and its subsequent implementation in the realization of the project. This implies therefore also the goal of the bachelor thesis, which is defined as the use of project management to open a new gastronomic facility – a bar. The theoretical part of the thesis mentions basic concepts and methods of project management, which were then used in practical part of the thesis, such as the project and setting its objective using the SMART method, introduction of individual project management methods, introduction to SWOT analysis, WBS, Gantt chart and many others. In the practical part of this thesis, the above-mentioned selected methods of project management leading to elaboration of a complete preparatory phase of project plan for the opening of a new bar in Ostrava were used in practise.
