Abstract

The analysis of the insurance market performs assess the level of insurance market using indicators. With insurance it is possible to reduce the negative effects of randomness and eliminate possible risks. The importance of insurance does not only provide insurance protection also gives financial security to individuals, businesses, families and many other people. Insurance is one of the most important sectors of the economy and has an irreplaceable position in the national economy. Cooperation insurance sector and the banking sector contributes to the growth of the economic situation and financial market of the country. The insurance market is very much intertwined in the financial markets. History of insurance falls into the past, back in those times, people tried to mitigate or eliminate financial consequences arising from adverse situations. The gradual development of the insurance gets into such a form which people are familiar with today. The thesis will be a characteristic of insurance market in the Czech Republic on 31 12th 2011 evaluation of the development of the insurance market from the beginning to the present. A comparison of the Czech insurance market with the EU market, using key indicators of the level and to point out possible differences that are in these markets.
