Abstract
The diploma thesis focuses on the possibilities of using the LabVIEW development environment and the NI ELVIS II hardware platform. The work is devoted in detail to the classification and description of selected application areas of biomedical engineering where the NI ELVIS II hardware platform can be used. The aim of the thesis is the design and implementation of selected applications based on virtual tools (LabVIEW) usable in the field of biomedical engineering. The output of the graduate work will be a set of tasks that can be used within the subject Virtual Instrumentation in Biomedical Engineering (VIBI).
