Abstract

The main goal of this thesis was to analyze both the merchandising activities as well as personal teams´ quality in chosen retail outlets. The analysis was focused on rational nutrition products from Podravka-Lagris, a.s. product portfolio. Secondary goal was to compare the quality of distribution in two different regions. The research was based on a qualitative analysis in the form of structured observation. As an instrument of data collection was used the observation list/sheet. In addition to it the Total shopscore index was applied for better comparison of the executed merchandising. On the base of the observed results the particular management approaches were analyzed. As a result of this process the appropriate recommendation were determined for the company in cooperation with retail outlets.
