Abstract

Bachelor thesis deals with the issue of boarding surfaces for firefighting equipment. The aim of this work is to evaluate the current state of current legislation, define and analyze the shortcomings causing a reduction in the efficiency of the use of the boarding area and make proposals that can improve this situation. The theoretical part deals with the analysis of legislation and the code of technical regulations in the Czech Republic. The thesis further compares the legislation and situation in the Slovak Republic. In the practical part, the work analyzes the factors influencing the functionality of the boarding areas, compare with the dimensions of the boarding areas against the dimensions of the high-altitude firefighting equipment and sets out proposals that can improve the situation.
