Abstract

This bachelor thesis deals with issue of Influence of Personal Protective Equipment on Firefighter Visibility during Intervention. In the first part of thesis is thrashed out theoretical basis as physical terms, imaging process and psychology of colours perception and perception of shapes. The second part is focused on individual types of personal protective equipment with influence on firefighter visibility. There are these facilities described with legislation that apply to them. In the third part, author tests that equipment under different conditions and evaluates them in term of visibility and catchiness. Results of the tests can be used to assessment of the best design of personal protective equipment in term of safety their users.
