Abstract

The topic of this bachelor thesis is the practical application of starting a family business. The aim of the thesis is to describe the theoretical background for the establishment of a family business and then apply it to the establishment of a limited company, which will have drawn up its business plan and also the rules for family business. The theoretical part deals with all the theoretical background, basic concepts such as business, enterprise or entrepreneur are described. Furthermore, the business of natural persons and limited liability company are described. The practical part includes the establishment of a limited liability company and the creation of a business plan. It also describes how to draw up rules for family involvement in the family business. For this thesis, a fictitious family business, StepUp Ltd, has been established.
