Abstract

The aim of the thesis, "The determinants of wages and wage discrimination in Hranice region" is find out what factors influence the amount of wages in Hranice region. With respect to these determinants then find out whether there is wage discrimination by gender. The work is theoretical-research character. The theoretical part is devoted to wage determinants, the description of the theory of equality and discrimination. They discussed ways of removing inequality and discrimination in the labor market. Subsequently, attention is paid to protection against discrimination in our country in the form of anti-discrimination policy. The core application of the research results of the survey. This part analyzes wage determinants that affect wages, and perhaps the existence of wage discrimination in Hranice region. The benefit of this work is the analysis of wage labor market.
