Abstract

This bachelor’s thesis addresses the issue of ensuring safety in a preschool facility. It utilizes control activities to assess risks in three key areas: fire protection, Occupational Health and Safety (OHS), and physical security. The objective of the thesis was to assess potential risks in a selected preschool facility based on the perfomed inspection and to propose adequate mesures. The introductory part focuses on legislative requirements regarding fire protection, OHS and physical security. The practical part analyzes the current state of safety in the specific facility, which was conducted through physical inspection and study of documentation. Based on the identified deficiencies and risk assessment, specific corrective measures for the given facility are formulated in the conclusion of the thesis.
