Rekonstrukce okružní křižovatky na ul. Hlavní třída a ul. Porubská v Ostravě

Abstract

The subject of this diploma thesis is a proposal of roundabout reconstruction on street Hlavni trida and street Porubska in Ostrava. The main aim of the work is to propose two variants of reconstruction of the roundabout which will take into account the necessary measures to increase the fluency and traffic safety of vehicles, pedestrian and cyclists. Part of the work is observation the current state, evaluation of the traffic intensity based on the traffic surveys, evaluation of traffic accidents including the videoanalysis of conflict situations and analysis of point faults. Finally, the suggested variants were compared according to the multi-criteria evaluation and based on the conclusion the most suitable variant was chosen for more detailed processing. During desingning the program AutoTURN was used to check the pass ability of the roundabout.
