Zhodnocení vývoje armádních přileb a porovnání jejich balistické odolnosti

Abstract

The theme of this bachelor´s thesis is an evaluation of ballistic resistance of three selected types of army helmets, that are or have been part of equipment of Czech republic army. The introductory part of the thesis explains important topics for understanding the field of ballistics. The test of ballistic resistence was performed by two different experiments. The first one was performed in ballistics laboratory at our faculty, where were used special gates for calculate missile velocity. As a test weapon were used the USP Expert 9 mm pistol with two types of ammunition of different weights. The second part took place at the shooting range, where were chosen three long weapons with different deformation efficiencies for the endurance test. These specific weapons were chosen because there is a high probability, that the soldier will face these weapons on foreign missions. Finally, the results of individual ballistic resistance tests of helmets are evaluated and compared.
