Abstract
This diploma thesis is focused on camera system for length measuring of tungsten coils. Theoretical part describes categorization of tungsten coils and wires defects, principles of CCD and CMOS sensors and cameras functioning. Practical part contains design, description and realization of optical system with camera, which uses OpenCV library for image processing. Final system is evaluated for measurement capability.
