Abstract
This bachelor thesis in its theoretical part characterizes choosen elements of climbing gear a discribes recent technical legislation concerning that gear. In its practical part an experimental method is described, which I used to verify choosen toughness parameters of climbing gear, to compare individual tests and evaluate results.
