Štruktúrne pomery lomu Malužiná

Abstract

This diploma thesis is focused on the structural analysis of structures in the Malužiná quarry using a geological compass. It is based on a detailed geological survey from 1979. By measuring documentation points in the quarry, local maximums were determined in stereograms according to relevant structures such as fractures or faults. These were plotted in the documentary and structure map of the quarry. Models of landslide-prone slopes were determined from the measured documentation points according to the respective local maximums. Such a structural analysis of potential landslides is very important and beneficial for a mining operation. Mainly during the further process of mining or in the further planning of paleobasalt rock mining. At the same time, it can be replenished during the further progress of mining and the further development of the quarry.
