Abstract

This theses describes the design and implementation methods for the detection of meter reading consumption. In this context, means the volume of water flow meter or meter-gauge, which indicates water consumption per unit of time. Recognition algorithm was implemented in C # programming language, intended for application executable on Windows. The basic requirement is a distinguishing communication system for detecting power meter reading via the serial communication channel. The aim is to set basic system parameters that lead to proper recognition of the serial numbers of meter consumption and current consumption which is displayed on the meter dial.
