Využití projektového řízení při implementaci eLearningu

Abstract

My graduation thesis serves to approximate the issue of eLearning and project management. My aim was not only to focus on the development of an eLearning course but mainly also on the utilization of the tools and resources of project management for the development of such course. The main objective was the creation of a draft of a basic timetable for the development of the course and resource analysis. The base for development of eLearning course for educational support in the field of stove maintenance was its simplicity, controllability, transparency and ease of use.

In the theoretical part of my theses I focused on the basic issue of project management, its definition, history and also on the concept definition that relate to it. Then I focused on the basic characteristic and definition of eLearning, its history and news from the “eLearning world”. Further then I also focused on introduction of LMS Moodle foremost its functionality, structure and service of this system.

The practical part of the theses is focused at first on the determination of the project by the contracting authority, then on the structure of the eLearning course and lastly on the project plan. I mostly addressed to the planning of the project that I have prepared in the GanttProject program together with the specification of partial activities, resources and expenses. Transparency of planning is shown in the Gantt diagram. At the close of my thesis I am assessing the individual benefits of eLearning course and also the utilization of the project management.

ELearning course should develop computer literacy of older users and informative abilities of all the course’s participants. It should support their constructive thinking and overall it should be a great benefit for them. The advantage of the course lies in the fact, that both the students (users) and the tutors (trainers) can launch the course from anywhere by the means of web interface.
