Integrovaný systém nakládání s odpady ve Zlínském kraji

Abstract

The thesis deals with the issue of waste management in the region of Zlin. It evaluates waste production and treatment, the existing network of facilities for waste management and their capacity. On the basis of analysis of the existing state of waste management, the evaluation of capacities of processing facilities was done. It has identified missing facilities and those with insufficient capacity and it has brought proposals for furnishing the region with additional processing units. Evaluation of the waste management as a complex in the large area of the region was not well applicable, therefore the individual territorial units of municipalities with extended governance were assessed and some concrete measures were proposed for each of these units.
