Abstract

Comparation of Object Oriented and Relational Databases for Database Managment Systems The theme of my bachelor work are object-oriented databases from the perspective of a beginer user. The work briefly describes the history of relational databases and their principles. The main focus is put on an object technology and its implementation into the databases. There are mentioned the arguments that speak for the use of object databases and vice versa, in what are still pitfalls of this way of thinking.
