Abstract
This bachelor thesis focuses on the preferences of retail investors when choosing investment platforms in the Czech Republic. The aim is to identify key factors influencing investors’ decisions and analyze their investment behavior. The theoretical part defines retail investing, the development of online platforms, and psychological aspects of decision-making. The empirical part is based on a quantitative survey conducted among investors, with results evaluated using statistical methods. The findings show that the most important factors include fees, user friendliness, security, and the range of investment instruments. The thesis provides recommendations for both investors and platform providers and contributes to a better understanding of individual investment decision-making.
