Abstract

The bachelor thesis "Ways of Reducing Unemployment in the Moravian - Silesian Region with the Support of the EU funds" deals with theoretical aspects of employment and unemployment, characterizes various specifics of the labor market and the role of the labor office in employment policy. Selected groups of people, who belong to the most vulnerable on the labor market in terms of unemployment, are analyzed here. The thesis also presents and evaluates projects supporting the increase of employment or reduction of unemployment, implemented in the Moravian-Silesian Region from European funds, as well as items that can significantly affect the labor market in the Moravian-Silesian Region. The analytical part presents the numbers of applicants registered at labor offices in the Moravian-Silesian Region. The work shows the impact of projects on the labor market in the Moravian-Silesian region and also the need for support and development of secondary education - especially in connection with the concept of Industry 4.0., Which will affect the labor market more and more in the future. Methods of analysis and synthesis were used in the work.
