Abstract
This thesis examines the risk assessment of a liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) filling station, with a primary focus on protecting the surrounding population. The thesis identifies sources of risk, analyzes potential accident scenarios, and conducts a subsequent risk assessment using selected methods. The thesis includes modeling the consequences of the most severe scenarios and proposing measures to increase safety levels in accordance with the ALARP principle. The results highlight the specific characteristics of LPG risks and confirm that, by combining existing safety features with the proposed measures, these risks can be effectively managed and minimized.
