Abstract

This thesis focuses on the process of mortality Czech population. The issue of mortality is currently a hot topic, which corresponds to the number of reports on which day we hear not only from a variety of media, but also of ordinary human communication. In terms of changes in total mortality is considered the turning period beginning 90. 20th cent. The aim of this thesis is to analyze the development process of mortality Czech population between 1994 and 2011. For secondary objective of this work is considered the analysis of regional disparities by most frequent cause of death. This thesis focuses on the basic definition of the issue of mortality, including the methodology that is used in the analytical part. The next part is dedicated to the analysis of the process of mortality Czech population. The analysis is performed on entity-level regions of the Czech Republic by selected demographic indicators.
