Abstract

The thesis "Strategic aspects of long term efficiency providing in a telecommunication company“ focuses on the analysis of one particular method that the telecommunication company has chosen as a way of maintaining their long term efficiency, and that is „franchising“. The advantages and disadvantages of this method are mentioned and the emergence of new franchise stores is described in detail - from site selection, choice of partner and merchandising to managing performance and quality. The thesis also contains a practical example in which demonstrates the impact of franchising on the market share of a telecommunication company offering a franchise license.
