Abstract

This bachelor's thesis describes the issue of drilling works performed mainly in the field of engineering geological survey. Part of the thesis discuss the legislation concerning geological survey and implementation of exploratory boreholes. It contains an overview of the used technology and the techniques needed to perform drilling works. The works performed on a specific locality of the planned road bypass Solnice town is described here. In the end, attention is paid to the comparison of the old mechanical drilling rig and the new, fully hydraulic rig.
